Leave from Bedoin, which hugs the base of Mont Ventoux on St Antonin hill, and well worth a visit to see the church, Saint Pierre, and the village centre.

Cycle to Crillon le Brave, which overlooks the plain from its hilltop perch. Wander the village streets and see the lovely stone architecture. See the statue of Crillon le Brave, valourous captain under King Henri IV, who bequeathed his name to his native village.

In Mormoiron, see the ochre sands, and take the time to zipline with Ventoux Aventure! Exciting, almost scary, with breathtaking views of Mont Ventoux. Picnic in the pine woods on the banks of Salettes Lake.

Back on the road, follow the ochre road to the village of Flassan, where ochre washes embellish the housefronts. Stop on the village square and enjoy the little fountain.

Take the Mont Ventoux road to return to Bedoin.

To go further : you can go to the village of Mazan a small wine-making village with unsuspected cultural riches - in the cemetery there is a lovely lane with 64 Gallo-Roman sarcophagi. At the Canteperdrix wine cellar there is a Roman wine amphora. And the museum is wonderful.
