Take a day with the family, devoted to the world of sweets !
In the morning, follow the delicious Berlingot which takes you to the "Confiserie du Mont Ventoux" in Carpentras, to learn about the many flavours of this lovely little sweet, then go to the village of Saint-Didier, to taste the nougat made by the Frères Silvain.
In the afternoon, from 2 to 5 pm, Rose Combe welcomes you at her farm, the "Ferme de l'Oiselet" in Sarrians. Here, she teaches how to make traditional local and regional recipes, and you take your preparations home with you.
On the programme for 2010:
- February: carnival of the animals, small glasses of good things (“verrines”)
- March: puffs and éclairs, spring salads
- April: puff pastry, chocolate Easter hens, cooking with flowers
- May: cherries galore, fruit mousses
- June: decorations in the culinary arts, cooking with flowers
- July & August: wreaths of aromatic herbs, lavender, syrup and lavender crafts
- September: old-fashioned harvests
- October: autumn delights, Halloween in Provence
- November: olives, from the tree to the plate
- December: 13 Christmas desserts
